Why DIY Draught Bust?
In these Changing times residents and communities need to do more for themselves and we want to help this happen. DIY skills help you the resident to get the immediate benefits of staying toasty indoors when its cold out, cutting draughts by up to 28% and saving the cost of installation [approx £70-£100] in your first winter bill! The workshops are free with easy to learn techniques that are fun to share with others - So sign up asap!

?Do you want to learn how to DIY install cheap top grade insulation in your home and save on bills?
?Are you up for sharing what you learn with at least 2 other residents in your community?

If you said yes to all 3 questions you are invited to apply for a limited space at a DIY Residents Workshop and learn how to install draught proofing on sash and casement windows and front/back and patio doors, radiators panels + many Top Tips to keep you and your home warm every winter, so sign up for either session...

Places...
There are 24 places in total, 12 in each workshop so please book early to avoid disappointed! We are encouraging residents who live in the South and West to sign up as a priority, however, if there are places available people from other areas of Glasgow can apply. Please apply for the session that best fits your needs regardless of what area you live in.

Costs...
The workshops are FREE but as places are limited we ask for a £10 deposit, returnable on the day of the workshop. There will be some free DIY materials to practice in your home. There will also be opportunities to buy further cost price materials

1. Contact Abi Mordin on 0141 613 2766 or email abi@urbanroots.org.uk to provisionally book a place on the workshop
2. Please fill in the registration form attached and together with a £10 returnable deposit [cash, postal order, cheque or BACS] ] send immediately to secure your place. This will be refunded at the workshop [sorry, we need to do this to ensure people turn up!].
