hard rain exhibition

This Summer, from 22nd August until 26th September, Transition Edinburgh University will be hosting the internationally acclaimed ‘Hard Rain’ photographic exhibition by Mark Edwards, which links breathtaking images of climate change with the words of Bob Dylan’s song ‘Hard Rain’. The images range from the glorious to the harrowing, and are all taken from Mark Edwards’ travels around the world, giving powerful snapshots of different experiences of climate change.

On 25th August, Mark Edwards will be giving his account of the personal and environmental journey that led to this exhibition and outlining the policy, technology and lifestyle changes necessary to take us off the course towards a headlong collision with nature. An event not to be missed that will inspire those in all walks of life.

The exhibition will be free to view at Edinburgh University central area, outside the Dugald Stewart Building then at George Square from 22nd August until 26th September.

Mark Edwards’ presentation will take place as part of Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 25th August at 4pm in the Hugh Robson Building (Fringe Venue 224).
