Germany Skype Link with Scotland

The conference in Hannover linked with us on Saturday at 5:30pm our time. We had some connection problems, but eventually managed to have a discussion with pictures and words, if not sound!

Their first question was to Rob Hopkins, of Transition Network.

Q: What do you think of the fact that some people use the engish word 'transition' rather than a German Equivalent?

Rob said that people needed to make up their own mind on the appropriate word to use, and that it was a personal decision for the German speaking initiatives.

Q. What are the themes of your conference and can you tell us what the results have been?

Emily Watts of Transition Scotland Support reported that the themes were inclusion and belonging, and that it was difficult to report on any results as it still felt like the conference was in the middle of the process (but we will post some final thoughts on this blog!)
